Bubble Watch - Arizona Vs. Oregon State

9:00 PM ET, March 6, 2008, Gill Coliseum, Corvallis, OR

Arizona took care of business against Oregon State on Thursday winning 81 to 45 at Orergon. The win improves Arizona's chances of moving off the bubble and into a 24th consecutive NCAA Tournament. This was only Arizona's third win in there last nine conference games, however there tournament hopes are boosted by playing a difficult overall schedule. Do not look for this win though to improve Arizona's RPI as Oregon State has now lost 19 straight games. Leading scorers in the game for Arizona were guard Jerryd Bayless with 20 points, guard Nick Wise returned from a knee injury to score 15 points and have 6 assists, and forward Chase Buddinger add 17 points. Arizona's quest for a 24th consecutive NCAA Tournament bid is currently being led by interim coach Kevin ONeill in Lute Olsen's absence. Please vote in our poll if Arizona will make a 24th consecutive big dance.
