Bubble Watch - Bad day for Bubble Teams - Arizona State goes down

Arizona State lost to USC by a score of 55 to 59 in the quarterfinals of the PAC 10 Conference Tournament. Arizona State lost 10 of there last 15 regular-season games and likely will not play in the NCAA Tournament. Arizona State joins Dayton and Villanova as bubble teams who needed a big win today and lost. The losses of these teams are improving the chances of, teams that had better resumes coming into the conference tournaments, of getting into the NCAA Tournament. USC was led in the win by freshman O.J. Mayo who scored 23 points. Vote in the poll if O.J. Mayo can lead his team to a Final Four.

  1. As a much improved team which is on the rise, ASU deserved to get an NCAA bid more than AZ, which is on the downslide. They deserved it more than over-rated Oregon, too.
Arizona always gets rewarded for its past and they haven't been at their height for many years. The eastern people who select teams are always behind the times when it comes to basketball in the western states.
