National Player of the Year Update - Kevin Love
UCLA phenom freshman Kevin Love has been named the PAC 10 player of the year. Love is only the second freshman to ever win PAC 10 Player of the Year honors the first was California's Shareef Abdur-Rahim in 1996. Love is now the seventh UCLA player to be win the player of the year award, Arron Afflalo won last year, joining Kenny Fields, Ed O'Bannon, , two-time winner David Greenwood and Marques Johnson. Kevin Love is also a finalist for the Wooden Award, which is for the National Player of the Year. You can vote for Kevin in our fan poll for National Player of the Year as well.
