Connecticut Doubles Up Chattanooga 103 - 47 - West Region, Score,Recap

Connecticut doubles up on Chattanooga with a final score of 103-47. It seems like every year that a 16 seed like Chattanooga gets pounded into the ground, but this was particurly brutal and is the third largest defeat in the NCAA Tournament's history. The Chattanooga Mocs were hoping to be the first 16 seed to beat a number 1 and even had the support of new late night talk show host Jimmy Fallon and his studio audience yesterday, but in the end talent pervailed. Stanley Robinson scored 24 points to lead the Husky attack. The biggest story of the day is that Connecticut head coach Jim Calhoun missed they game because he was not feeling well and is undergoing tests in the hospital. Luckily this happened in the first round as some Husky players say it did way on their minds a little at game time.

Connecticut will play Texas A&M in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday.
