March Madness 2010 Bracket:Top 25 Monday Game Recap

  1. Number 1 Kansas didn't have any problems with the sinking #14 Longhorns winning 80-68 on the road. Frankly it is just shocking how badly Texas is playing after getting up to a #1 ranking, this was a home game for them Kansas isn't the greatest number 1 team of all time. Sophomore forward Marcus Morris led the Jayhawks with 18 points and 9 rebounds. Kansas has Iowa State up next so look for them to stay #1 next week. Texas has Nebraska at home so they should at least get another win, for now they are sinking like a rock in our March Madness 2010 Bracket we are thinking say a 8 seed.
  2. Number 5 Villanova rebounded in a huge way as they beat #4 West Virginia on the road 82-75 after jumping out to a 44-33 lead at halftime. What a great game, senior guard Scottie Reynolds scored 21 points. This won't come as a shock, we really like Villanova and think they are maybe the second best team in the country.
  3. Number 15 Butler was down at the half 26-24 at halftime but pulled out a 62-47 win over Loyola at home after a strong second half. Junior forward Matt Howard scored 20 for Butler as they clinched a share of the Horizon League already. We feel Butler is over rated right now, a decent team but over rated.
  4. Number 23 Pitt walked all over non-conference opponent Robert Morris 77-53. Pitt is 23-0 in games against their city rival. Sophomore guard Ashton Gibbs led Pitt with 20 points.
