March Madness 2010 Bracket:Top 25 Thursday Game Recap

  1. Number 7 Purdue held on for a hard fought victory over Indiana on the road 78-75, the win has Purdue rising up in the March Madness 2010 bracket.
  2. Number 9 Duke went off on number 19 Georgia Tech at Cameron Indoor 86-67 led by a career high 30 point performance from Singler. Duke is staying put until they prove they can win on the road.
  3. Number 13 Gonzaga was all over Portland at home 76-49 as they used a 20-2 run to spark the route. Portland isn't a bad team so this is a nice rebound from their loss to San Francisco. We would like to thank Gonzaga for not abusing our trust in them when we kept them a number 4 seed in the March Madness 2010 bracket.
  4. Number 14 Tennessee beat LSU 59 to 54 on the road. This win will not move Tennessee into our top 4 seeds of the bracket as LSU is winless in the SEC this year.
  5. Number 15 Butler took care of Detroit 63-58 at home. At some point we will need to move Butler up to a top 4 seed if they win out in the Horizon League but we likely won't do so until they do it.
In other action Notre Dame beat Cincinnati 83-65 in South Bend and Maryland edged Florida State 71-67 on the road. Maryland is now 5-2 in the conference and in second place behind Duke.
